The luncheon is to give “voice” to the issues surrounding immigration in Southeastern Michigan. The concerns facing both documented and undocumented families; especially those with young children are surmounting and affects the most vulnerable. Our hope is to continue the dialogue in a multi-faceted approach regarding the effects of trauma as it relates to immigration, knowing immigrants’ rights and ways to advocate, giving attendees tangible action steps to take with them. We will support participation from different levels; grassroots, legal and legislative so that our audience will have different methods to choose from in response.

The Policy Luncheon will be open to all conference participants. There is a nominal fee of $25,  for those choosing to register to attend this lunch. The charge includes an additional 1.0 CEU and a boxed lunch.  Due to capacity, the first 150 registered attendees will be able to participate. You will be able to add the policy luncheon to your conference registration.
