Selma Fraiberg Award

The Selma Fraiberg Award: For significant contributions in support of services for infants, young children and families in the State of Michigan.  This award recognizes individuals and/or groups who have made outstanding contributions in the areas of relationship-focused, culturally sensitive direct service delivery, program administration, research, teaching and/or training. Their work is informed by infant and early childhood mental health principles and practices, and has a social justice lens to intentionally address the racial, ethnic, socioeconomic and other inequities embedded in systems that affect young children and their families.  Those who have mentored, provided reflective supervision, trained or in other significant ways have supported workforce development may be honored with this award for their contributions.
