Continuing Education Information
Continuing Education is offered for this conference. Participants must arrive on time and remain in the training for its entirety (including Q&A) to receive continuing education credits. Late arrivals and early departures will result in the deduction of awarded credits. You must have your license number with you to check-in.
Sunday has 3.5 credits available; Monday has 6.5 credits available; Tuesday has 5.5 credits available.
Social Workers: 15.5 Continuing Education Credits are approved for this training.
SCECHs: 5 – 15 State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) are available for eligible participants; approval pending. To become eligible to receive SCECHs, full attendance and compliance with all attendance procedures are mandatory, including completion of the post-event survey.
Licensed Professional Counselors – NBCC Hours – Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health (MI-AIMH) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No.6867. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. MI-AIMH is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Endorsement®: All sessions at this Conference count toward the specialized in-service training requirement to earn or renew Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health. In-service hours are counted by clock hour. Endorsement® applicants need a minimum of 30-hours of specialized in-service training to apply for Endorsement® and a minimum of 15-hours annually to renew Endorsement®

Registration Tips

- Have the following information at your fingertips when starting registration:
- Conference selections for workshops and special events
- MI-AIMH membership ID – this is required in order to receive the reduced conference rate
- License number if you are a licensed social worker or licensed professional counselor
- Credit card information if you are paying via PayPal
- Group Registrations – have all of the information needed for each individual
- To complete your conference registration you MUST add the conference to your SHOPPING CART and CHECKOUT – if you do not enter your payment information your conference registration will NOT be complete
- If you would like to change some of your selections (workshops, special events) after you have fully completed your registration – contact Laura Sheldon at miaimh.training@gmail.com or call (734) 785-7705, ext. 7824 – DO NOT start another conference registration – this will create a second registration for you.

If you are not pre-registered, you will be considered a walk-in and will need to pay for the conference in full upon arrival. Walk-ins are not guaranteed training materials or their preferred choice of workshops. When you register online, you will be able to choose your method of payment (check/invoice/credit card via PayPal). All payments MUST be received prior to the conference. If your payment has not been received, participants will be required to provide payment on-site prior to entering the conference. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure payment is received.

Cancellations/Refunds Policy: Refund of the registration fee will be granted only to those persons who cancel their registration to the conference in writing by Monday, April 24, 2017, to miaimh.training@gmail.com.
There will be a $50 cancellation/processing charge. Those who do not appear at the conference, thereby canceling by default, will not be eligible to receive any refund.
