Home Based Clinician 0-3 yrs. In Jackson and/or Hillsdale Counties
Highfields, Inc. is a nationally accredited non-profit organization seeking a full-time Home Based Clinician primarily providing services to the 0-3 year olds and their families.
Therapeutic specialization in children under the age of three (3) with advanced knowledge in assessment, problem identification and diagnosis. Ability to relate and work constructively with vulnerable children and adults. Provide a range of clinical interventions to children under the age of three (3) and their families. Provide case coordination, crisis response and therapeutic intervention in a home and community based program serving Jackson and Hillsdale Counties.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other appropriate Human Services discipline.
Minimum of (2) two years progressive experience in providing services to families, including infant, child and adolescents.
Mental Health Licensure with the State of Michigan
Infant Mental Health Endorsement highly preferred or be willing to obtain endorsement.
The candidate shall be a person of good character who possesses the health, emotional stability, maturity and strength to carry out assigned duties.
Ability to show sensitivity to the service populations’ cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
Ability and experience to work at an in-home setting.
Ability to travel and work in an office and community settings.
Provide after hours on-call as necessary.
Valid Michigan driver’s license and acceptable driving record according to Highfields requirements.
