What Every Care Provider Must Know…
This conference will assist the attendees in the understanding, identification, and treatment for women who experience Perinatal Mood Disorder so that they can most effectively and holistically support and assist the affected mother and her family towards wellness.

The building is located on the corner of Seward Ave. and Fifth Street between Leonard Street and Bridge Street. Entrance is on the west side of the building.
Parking – Free parking available on-site – please use Parking Lot 1 – west of Saint Adalbert Church on Davis Street or Parking lot 2 – at the northeast corner of Davis Ave. and 5th Street. Access Parking lot 2 from Davis Ave.
Training is FREE, class size is limited to 50 participants.

Training Objectives –
- Differentiate between the symptoms of each Perinatal Mood Disorder: Baby blues, postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety/panic, postpartum obsessive/compulsive, post-traumatic stress syndrome due to childbirth, postpartum psychosis.
- Describe six risk factors for the Perinatal Mood Disorders.
- Identify recommended screening measures for Perinatal Mood Disorders.
- State three different treatment options for Perinatal Mood Disorders.
- Describe Perinatal Mood Disorder resources available to healthcare providers and consumers.
Target Audience –
Nursing, Social Work, and Healthcare providers in maternal Child Health areas: i.e. Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB High Risk, Pediatrics, Neonatal, Home Health, Childbirth Education, Social Service Agencies, Office personnel, etc.
