Early Childhood Learning Series
This training day is offered as an opportunity for collaboration, supervisory support and networking. Supervisors will be invited to learn and reflect together about common challenges and complex topics that arise for leaders in IECMH programs, including: impact of identity and power dynamics, boundary setting and navigating multiple roles as reflective, clinical and administrative supervisor. It will be an opportunity for collaboration, clinical support and networking. This training is only for those in the DWIHN who currently provide supervision to staff. This is different from previous supervisor trainings.

Access: Trainings will be offered through Zoom. A zoom link will be sent to registrants closer to the training. Be careful when entering your email address so that it is correct.
IMPORTANT – in order to receive a certificate and/or Continuing Education you will need to have a Zoom account (which is free) logged in to view the training. We are able to export a report from Zoom which will track your attendance. When you are signed in, your name appears along with the amount of time you were on the Zoom call. Only those names that appear on the report will receive certificates with continuing education credits/clock hours. Learning Objectives:
- Participants will recognize the ways in which the reflective supervision framework can support us in moving toward a multicultural relationship perspective in supervision.
- Participants will consider the specific ways in which they can build trust with their staff.
- Participants will explore the unique needs of staff, and of self, in this work during the ongoing global pandemic.
- Participants will utilize small and large group discussions to discuss common challenges and share ideas with peers.
- Participants will examine strategies to balance the roles of an IMH supervisor; administrative, clinical and reflective.
- Participants will consider what they need in order to be successful in their roles.
