The Best Practices in IMH and Child Welfare Learning Collaborative

Participants must have a role working with infants and young children involved with child welfare in Michigan to register.

The Best Practices in IMH and Child Welfare Learning Collaborative will consist of monthly 90-minute Zoom calls for the duration of 6 months, with trainer Faith Eidson.  Each month, the group  (of no more than 15 people) will focus on one topic area (e.g. Attachment, Trauma and the Brain, etc).    Participants will be sent reading material related to the topic area ahead of each call and will have the opportunity during the call to discuss the readings with their peers and trainer and to think more deeply about how they might integrate what they learned into their own work with very young child and families involved with child welfare.

2021 Dates: January 27; February 24; March 24; April 28; May 26; June 23
* it is expected that registrants are attending and participating in all six meetings for the collaborative.

Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (EST) all dates

Access: This collaborative will be offered virtually – a Zoom link will be sent to those that register.  Be careful when entering your email address so that it is correct.

Attendees will receive a certificates at the end of the learning collaborative with hours can count toward their Endorsement®.  Note – hours CANNOT be counted as Reflective Supervision hours.

Continuing Education – This learning collaborative will NOT carry any continuing education credits.

Licensed Professional Counselors – NBCC Hours – Please note that this training does not carry NBCC clock hours.


Registration Fees: $200.00 for Non-Members (equals $33 per session), $185.00 for MI-AIMH Members (equals $30 per session)

Registration deadline: January 21, 2021. 

Cancellation policy: Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing no later than 4 days prior to the event for a refund to be issued.
