Celebrate Babies! Free Advocacy Webinar!

October 20, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Event Navigation

Are you looking or a way to celebrate babies during Celebrate Babies! week!?
Join Michigan’s Children and your MI-AIMH colleagues to learn about how to engage in effective public policy advocacy to ensure that policymakers prioritize the needs of Michigan’s most challenged families with very young children.  As IMH practitioners who work with parents and children on a day-to-day basis, you are experts on the issues families face, and subsequently, the policies that affect them.  This webinar will provide tips on how you can channel your expertise on these issues, how to strategically engage with decision-makers on program and policy issues that matter to the parents and children you work with, and how you can influence decision-makers to ensure that there is equitable access to the critical programs and services that families with young children rely on, particularly during times of hardship.

On Thursday, October 20, 2016, from 12-1pm, gather with your colleagues, MI-AIMH chapter members, and/or friends!  Please email Mina Hong, Michigan’s Children, at mina@michiganschildren.org with the following information:
Name; Organization/Affiliation; Email; If they will be gathering with a team of folks, who else will be in attendance – name, affiliation and email.
