Advocating for the Baby: Infant Mental Health & Decision Making in At-Risk & Child-Welfare Cases

What Will I Learn About? Topics of discussion will include:
-The caregiving needs of infants and toddlers
-What happens when those needs are not met and what may happen if the child welfare system becomes involved
-The Mi-AIMH Baby Bench Card– an assessment and case planning tool for child welfare, law, mental health and other 0-3 interventionists
-How to use this information to advocate for at-risk and system-involved infants and toddlers
