Using CPP & Play Strategies in IMH Work: A Series of Coaching Calls

September 14, 2015 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

| $80.00

Event Navigation

8 Sessions: Mondays, Sept. 14 & 28, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26, Nov. 2 & 8, 2015

Time:   9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

This consultation call group will blend Infant Mental Health (IMH) Reflective Supervision with Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) principals to help clinicians combine the MI-AIMH model with CPP trauma assessment and narrative. Participants will gain exposure to assessments used in CPP such as Angels in the Nursery, Life Stressor Index, and Traumatic Events Inventory for Children.

Participants will gain experience in reflective functioning and learn to identify trends in play that can support the client’s trauma narrative via group reflective supervision/case consultation.

Please note, while we are extending participation to all MI-AIMH members, previous CPP training experience, or participation with Dr. Osofsky’s two day training, is preferred.
Calls will consist of a blend of review of shared materials, case presentation and group reflective functioning. Group size is limited to a maximum of ten participants; a minimum of 5 participants is needed to offer this series.

Registration can be completed one time for the entire call series, and participants should plan to attend six of the eight calls and present one or more cases for consultation.

Registration Fee: $80.00
