A Secure Base: A Deeper Look at Attachment and Parent-Infant Relationships (PART 2)

Presenter: Julie Ribaudo, LMSW, ACSW, IMH-E®

Choosing where to place one’s attention and intervention focus in infant mental health work and parent-infant psychotherapy can be challenging. Understanding the behavioral and narrative markers of attachment styles of both adults and children can assist in deciding on the focus of attention. This three-day series will explore the attachment templates of both children and adults, concluding with implications for treatment. Particular focus will be given to disorganized/disoriented attachments and the possibility of interrupting the intergenerational transmission of unresolved trauma.

Date: Friday, March 10, 2017

Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Registration begins at: 8:30 AM

This training is co-sponsored by MI-AIMH and the IMH Statewide Committee.
