Betty Tableman honored with Public Citizen of the Year award

Friends and colleagues gathered at the Michigan Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers Annual Conference to honor Betty Tableman with the Public Citizen of the Year Award.

“Betty is recognized for her outstanding career and leadership in advocating, establishing, and supporting quality programs for infants, toddlers, young children, and their families. One of her most prominent legacies is that of establishing a clinical infant mental health program within Michigan’s community mental health system, which has led to national recognition and leadership in the field.”
