Registration Information

Scroll down the page for the registration form – please have some patience with us, each page will take a few seconds to load during your registration.

This year, only online registration will be accepted.  Do not stress – it is quick and easy! If you have questions about conference registration or payment, please contact Laura Sheldon at (734) 785-7705, extension 7824 or email miaimh.training@gmail.com.  In lieu of creating a conference brochure this year, we are utilizing our website to list all of the details and information to keep you up to date!

Registration Deadlines:

•  Early Bird Registration: February 8th – April 5th

•  Regular Registration: April 6th – April 19th

•  Last Day to Pre- Register: April 19th

If you are not pre-registered by April 19th, you will be considered a walk-in and will need to pay for the conference in full upon arrival.  Late payments after the conference are NOT accepted.  Walk-ins are not guaranteed training materials or their preferred choice of workshops.

Registration Tips

Before you start registration – try these helpful tips 

• Read through the conference website before you start the registration process  CONFERENCE WEBSITE

Knowing  what information you will need during the registration process will be very helpful. Print (it is many pages) or look through the registration questions to prepare to start registration: Copy of Registration Form for reference

Gather these items before you start

→ Conference selections for workshops and special events – including a 2nd choice for workshops if someone is registering on your behalf – Workshop Schedule & Descriptions

→ MI-AIMH membership ID – this is required in order to receive the reduced conference rate – Your membership ID can be found on your My MI-AIMH profile.

→ License number if you are a licensed social worker or licensed professional counselor – this is required for CEU’s

→ Credit card information if you are paying via PayPal *NOTE* you do NOT need a PayPal account to pay by credit card, just follow the steps and you can pay as a guest.

• Group Registrations – have all of the information needed for each individual *** it is IMPORTANT that you input the individual attendee’s email during the registration process.  Attendees will receive notifications to that email that are specific to them.  Do not use an administrative email in the contact information for registration.

• To complete your conference registration you MUST add the conference to your SHOPPING CART and CHECKOUT – if you do not enter your payment information your conference registration will NOT be complete

If you would like to change some of your selections (workshops, special events) after you have fully completed your registration – contact Laura Sheldon at miaimh.training@gmail.com or call (734) 785-7705, ext. 7824 – DO NOT start another conference registration – this will create a second registration for you.

Payment Information
When you register online, you will be able to choose your method of payment (check/credit card via PayPal).  All payments MUST be received prior to the conference.  If your payment has not been received, participants will be required to provide payment on-site prior to entering the conference.  It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure payment is received.

Payment Method Options
PayPal when you register online, you can complete your registration and payment all together through PayPal.  PayPal is the credit card processing system that MI-AIMH uses, you do NOT need a PayPal account to use your credit/debit card to pay for your registration.  The system will take you through the steps to use PayPal as a guest.

Checks – Make checks payable to: MI-AIMH  * include participant names, it is VERY important you include names with the check.

Other Credit Card – If you selected “check” during registration but prefer to pay by credit card, please contact Teri Lower, 734-785-7700, ext. 7194.  We will be able to take information over the phone, process the credit card and email you a receipt.  Be sure to have the name(s) of all individuals you are paying for when you call.

Cancellations/Refunds Policy: Refund of the registration fee will be granted only to those persons who cancel their registration to the conference in writing by Monday, April 24, 2017, to miaimh.training@gmail.com.

There will be a $50 cancellation/processing charge.  Those who do not appear at the conference, thereby canceling by default, will not be eligible to receive any refund.
