Endorsed Professionals: Time to Renew!

Renewing Endorsement

If you are endorsed (IMH-E®) by MI-AIMH at any level, you are required to submit an Annual Renewal Form no later than January 31, 2013.  The form can be found at http://www.mi-aimh.org/endorsement   Look under Documents on the right side of the page.  The completed form should be emailed to Deborah Kahraman at dkahraman@mi-aimh.org

There is no endorsement renewal fee.  However, on-going membership with MI-AIMH or another infant mental health association is required to renew endorsement.  If your membership is not current, you can renew on-line with a credit card at http://www.mi-aimh.org/membership.php

If you earned your endorsement in 2012, you are not required to renew in 2013.  Your first Annual Renewal Form will be due no later than January 31, 2014 and will include a minimum of 15 hours of specialized in-service training and a minimum of 12 hours of reflective supervision/consultation that you received in 2013.

New IMH-E® Renewal Requirements for 2013

Beginning this year, endorsed Infant Family Specialists, Infant Mental Health Specialists, and Infant Mental Health Mentors – Clinical (Levels II, III, and IV-Clinical) are required to receive a minimum of 12 hours of reflective supervision/consultation (RSC) in addition to the 15 hours of specialized in-service training and MI-AIMH membership.  These RSC and training hours will be included on the Annual Renewal Form that is due no later than January 31, 2014

To find an individual who can provide RSC in your region, you can go to http://www.mi-aimh.org/imh-faculty-registry and click on List of Qualified Providers of RSC

Professionals who have maintained endorsement as an Infant Mental Health Mentor – Clinical (Level IV) for at least three years are recommend, but not required to receive on-going RSC
