**A new revised edition of this publication has arrived!** This 40-page booklet identifies competencies that have been identified by service providers and professionals as crucial for effective, culturally sensitive, relationship-based practice promoting infant mental health. There are four levels of competencies. Each level recognizes educational experience, in-service training experiences, and reflective supervisory experiences appropriate in best service outcomes for infants, toddlers, and families.
