MI-AIMH Endorsement Competencies, 2003
This 30-page booklet identifies competencies that have been identified by service providers and professionals as crucial for effective, culturally sensitive, relationship-based practice promoting infant mental health. There are four levels of competencies. Each level recognizes educational experience, in-service training experiences, and supervisory experiences appropriate in best service outcomes for infants, toddlers, and families. The competencies offer individuals, employers and agencies in the infant and family field a pathway to development that leads to increased confidence and credibility.
