Child Outcomes Birth to Five (0-5): Early On & Preschool Special Education Training

Details:

This training is designed to assist personnel in understanding the federal and state requirements regarding Child Outcomes and the associated State Performance Plan Indicators 3 (Child Outcomes for ages 0-3) and 7 (Preschool Child Outcomes ages 3-5). Participants will be presented with information about the origins of the outcomes and the definition of what they are, and the skills and information needed to accurately collect as well as report outcome information to the state.  Participants will practice using the 7-Point Rating Scale, The Decision Tree and the Child Outcomes Summary Form (COSF). Both Part C and Part B procedures will be discussed in addition to similarities and differences highlighted.

Training documents will be included in the participant folders. Additionally, all documents, as well as referenced resources, will be emailed to participants who submit an active email address.
